Getting Started – Navigating the Database
- Click on Database
- Choose which Regional Database you would like to serach and use. By clicking on the Region map or the Region Title Heading.
- The Rgional CSI Level is shown as the 04 CSI Levels – sections 01 thru 48. Scroll down and click on any 04 CSI Level Heading .
- The 04 CSI Level sections are shown along with the name and contact information of the local contractor/supplier that has provided the budget unit costs for this section. Click on any section.
- Subscribers will have access to the budget unit costs for each item and if there is any LEED iformation available for the item, and the date that the budget unit cost was last updated by the regional contractor/supplier. Subscibers will also be able to click on the item heading to access a second page that provdes a detailed description of the budget unit cost and the LEED information if any is applicable.
- When you are finished with this section you may scroll down the page and from there you may goto the next CSI section or CSI Level by clicking on any one of the Headngs.
Explaination of Terms
- Labor – Labor is the installation of materials and includes all necessary labor, small tools, miscellaneous small hadware, standard labor burden. The labor rates are for Open Shop non-union wages. If prevaling wages (Davis Bacon Act) are required please contact the listed vendor for current prevailing wage rates/costs.
- Material – Material budgets include delivery to the jobsite. All sales taxes, excrise taxes must be added to the material budgets. Distribution of materials on the job site must be included as a Labor line item within the estimate.
- Subcontract – Subcontract budgets include all Labor and Material to provide a complete installation of the item. The labor rates are for Open Shop non-union wages. If prevaling wages (Davis Bacon Act) are required please contact the listed vendor for current prevailing wage rates/costs. Subcontract Budgets exclude Bond costs.
- General Contractor General Conditions – These costs are NOT included in any of the above items.
- General Contractor O.H.& P. – These costs are NOT included in any of the above items.
- General Contractor Insurance – These costs are NOT included in any of the above items.
- General Contractor Bonds – These costs are NOT included in any of the above items.
